Meet Our Lights of St. Charles Talent Show Judges...
Pat McGonigle anchors Today in St. Louis on weekday mornings with Nichole Berlie. Pat is a daily contributor on The Dave Glover Show on 97.1 FM in St. Louis. Pat covers a wide range of stories but especially enjoys opportunities to put a spotlight on the many inspiring people and traditions in the St. Louis region. Pat graduated from Saint Louis University and is the proud father of five daughters. Pat once won a competition for the best "Alf" imitation.
Lori Wootten is a retired counselor and music teacher from the St. Charles School District. With her Bachelor’s degree in vocal music, she has produced and directed numerous school and church musical productions over the past 30 years. Lori sings with the First Baptist Church Harvester praise team band and directs the FBCH Kindergarten Choir. She enjoys singing with her contemporary Christian women’s quartet and also performs solo jazz and gospel for local events.
Lori is active in many local community service organizations, currently serving on the executive board of We Love St. Charles. She is also excited to serve as fundraising chairperson for the newly formed local chapter of Care To Learn for the St. Charles School District.
Kim Underwood is a native of Central IL but has called St. Louis her home for the past 13 years. She is the Afternoon Drive host on Joy FM and in her off time enjoys mentoring younger women. She is a former National Anthem Singer for the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bulls and has performed in both dance and vocals on stage since the age of 6. Realizing how fun is it to win, she became a St. Louis Cardinals fan soon after her move to St. Louis.
Tammy Scott is co-owner of Rhythm Music and Performing Arts StudioStudio Located in New Town at St. Charles, along with her husband Michael. She and Michael are also music artist managers. Through the years of managing musicians and other artists, Rhythm Management formed into Rhythm Music Group, an independent record label recently launched. Tammy's role as an artist manager and owner of a independent record label is vast, but primarily focuses on artist development, branding and coaching. Along with co-owning Rhythm Studio, managing artists, and owning a record label, Tammy is the St. Louis Chapter Representative of Global Songwriters Connection (GSC) based in Nashville, TN. Tammy has demonstrated an exceptional ability to identify talent, creating an environment in her career for many roles in the music industry.
Dr. Joseph Alsobrook has been an active educator and musician since 1988 and currently leads the operation and development of Lindenwood University’s School of Fine and Performing Arts and the J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts. Under his leadership, both the academic programs and Lindenwood’s professional arts and entertainment series have experienced significant growth in both quality and enrollment. Dean Alsobrook’s professional accomplishments include National Board certification in music, three published textbooks, recognition as a distinguished mentor, and recipient of educational leadership, scholar of the year, and beyond the best awards.
